This policy explains what personal information Video Co. collects through video-co.com, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We've kept it short and in plain English.

Who we are

Video Co. connects brands and agencies with premium online video and streaming TV advertising across Australia and New Zealand, powered by JWX technology. In this policy, "Video Co.", "we" and "us" mean Video Co., and "you" means anyone who visits our site or gets in touch with us.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Information Privacy Principles in New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, when you:

Build and send a video plan: your name, work email, company, and the brief details you enter, such as your brand, product, audience, locations, campaign dates and budget.
Book a walkthrough or contact us: your name, work email, company and your message.
Email or call us directly: whatever you include in that conversation.

We don't ask for sensitive information, and we'd ask that you don't include any in a brief or message.

If you only browse the site, we don't ask for or store any personal information about you. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on video-co.com. Like any website, the services that deliver our site (our hosting provider, and the providers of our fonts and PDF tool) may receive basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type so they can load the page.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry or walkthrough request.
To prepare and discuss a video advertising plan based on your brief.
To plan, run and report on campaigns you choose to go ahead with.
To follow up about your enquiry. We won't add you to a marketing list without asking, and you can tell us to stop contacting you at any time.

Downloading a plan as a PDF happens in your own browser. The PDF isn't sent to us unless you also send your brief.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to do what you've asked:

Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host (which receives and stores form submissions) and our email provider.
JWX, our technology partner, where needed to plan or deliver a campaign you've asked us to run.
Others where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia and New Zealand, including in the United States. We use reputable providers that protect data to a standard comparable to Australian and New Zealand privacy law.

How we keep it safe and for how long

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including using secure, access-controlled services. We keep enquiries and briefs only for as long as we need them to work with you, or as the law requires, and then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

see the personal information we hold about you,
correct it if it's wrong, or
delete it, or stop contacting you.

Just email us and we'll respond as soon as we can, and within 20 working days.
